How to Join?
The UGC InfoNet Digital Library Consortium is pleased to announce the launch of of its Associate Membership Programme. All UGC-affiliated universities are eligible to join the Consortium under this programme. While the expenditure on subscription to electronic resources for universities covered under the 12 B of the UGC Act is being made available by the UGC, other universities are welcome to join the Consortium on their own for sharing benefits it offers in terms of lower rates of subscription and better terms of agreement with the publishers. All electronic resources which are under the Consortium are available through the publisher's Website. Local hosting of resources has not been considered at this stage.
Who is eligible to join ?
Membership of the Consortium is open to private or UGC-funded universities / colleges for one or more electronic resources. The members would be required to sign an agreement with the UGC-INFONET Digital Library Consortium as well as with the publishers of electronic resources that they wishes to subscribe. The Consortium charges an annual membership fee of Rs. 5,000.00.
Why should you join ?
The Consortium offers the best possible price advantage ranging from 12% to 95% (Average > 80% +) through its pricing agreements with publishers as well as terms of agreement for various electronic resources. Moreover, the Consortium also provides technical help and arrange for in-house training programme as well as other training programme with the help of member organisation for optimal usage of resources subscribed.
How to join ?
Brochure and Application Form is available on the website at http://www.inflibnet.ac.in/econ/AM12.pdf. Select the resources that you wish to subscribe. You are also required to pay a membership fee of Rs. 5000.00 to the Consortium. Please request for performa invoice, if required. Send the form duly filled-in along with demand draft in favour of "Director, INFLIBNET Centre, Ahmedabad" to the Director, INFLIBNET Centre.
